What Was It?
In "Double Rainbow", Paul "Bear" Vasquez films a double rainbow over the hills near Yosemite National Park from his front yard and is completely overwhelmed by it, laughing, weeping and asking what it all means.
He posted it on January 8, 2010. It went viral that summer after Jimmy Kimmel shared it, and "double rainbow all the way across the sky" became one of the most quoted lines of the year, remixed into a hit auto-tuned song.
Vasquez enjoyed his fame with good humour. He died in May 2020, and the video remains his joyful legacy.
