What Was It?
At their wedding on June 20, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz skipped the usual march. The ushers closed the church doors as if all was normal, then Chris Brown's "Forever" began. Ushers, groomsmen and bridesmaids danced down the aisle, the groom tumbled through the group, and finally the bride danced in to meet him.
The wedding party had practiced for an hour and a half the Thursday before. A month later the video went up on YouTube, at the request of the bride's father, so relatives who missed the day could see it. It took off within two days, and the couple were on the Today show on July 25.
Because of the controversy around Chris Brown, the couple asked viewers to donate to the Sheila Wellstone Institute, which works to end domestic violence.
