What Was It?

"Gymkhana Two: The Infomercial" is the second of rally driver Ken Block's gymkhana videos, in which he drifts and slides a rally car around obstacles with startling precision. It was framed as an infomercial for DC Shoes, the company Block co-founded.

Filmed at the Port of Los Angeles, it starred a 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX STI prepared by Crawford Performance. Block drifts uncomfortably close to obstacles in slow motion, drives under a trailer as it bursts into flame, and the film ends in an explosion.

It came a year after his first gymkhana video and was a far more polished production. The series that followed ran for years and made Block's Hoonigan brand a fixture of car culture online.
